Minimum Qualification / Experience

MBBS or equivalent Medical qualification recognized by PMDC. OR M.Sc. of recognized University in basic science relevant subject (for Non-Medical graduates). Post Graduate: D.Sc., Ph.D., FCPS, MD, M.S., M.Phil etc. in respective subjects. FCPS/MD with DPH for Public Health Institutions. POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE: Five years teaching as Assistant Professor in postgraduate institute. OR Eight years as AP in undergraduate Medical Institution. RESEARCH: At least 3 research papers OR 5 research papers if in undergraduate institution. NOTE: For Basic Science subjects non-medical eligible if medical graduate not available.

Age Limit

48 years plus five (5) years general relaxation in upper age limit

Place of Posting

Candidates must clearly indicate category (A to E) in application. Separate online application and separate fee for each category. Any other equivalent qualification in relevant speciality recognized by PMDC also eligible.

Fee via PSID through 1-Link facility. Government Servants must obtain DPC before applying. Written Test (MCQ) for Phase-2/2026: w.e.f. 11-07-2026.
